Center field stood a team unpolished
As ready as they could be
Spread out focus they listen
For the whistle anxiously.

Speed across the game chaos
Inflicted upon watching eyes
A battle broke out in peaceful war
Followed by loud chanting cries.

Prologue

I truly wanted to be at peace.

I shouldn’t care but for some reason I cannot seem to let it go.

I burden myself with troubles not of my own account and hold on to emotions unwelcome.

Krag van Bo van binne in jou
Styg uit en kyk nooit terug
Staan vas in jou geloof soos min
Agtergeblewenes verdwyn uit sig.

Laaste waarheid van my kant
Belsuit op ware geluk en leef dit uit
Wanneer jou son op ander skyn
